Practical tips if you're flying in from outside the U.S.

Driver's license. Drivers need to be 25 or older with a valid driver's license. International driver's licenses are accepted alongside your country's standard license. Most international visitors are fine driving in Texas with their home country's license, though carrying an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended for some countries.

Insurance. Two paths. If you have credit card rental coverage that works in the U.S., you can use that. Otherwise, add our coverage at checkout. The booking app walks you through what works for your situation.

Booking timing. World Cup 2026 dates book out fast. We recommend locking your dates 4 to 6 months ahead of your matches. The semifinal weekend (July 11-14, 2026) will book first.

The drive to AT&T Stadium. Plan 45 to 60 minutes from central Dallas to Arlington on a match day, longer if your match is in a high-traffic window. Stadium parking is plentiful but can be slow to enter and exit. Budget time.

FAQ

How does pickup work?

Pickup is at our North Dallas location. Exact address comes with your booking confirmation. Once you've completed the license and insurance verification through the app, your Transit is ready at the time you booked with the keys inside. No counter, no waiting. Rentals 7 days or more get free DFW or Love Field delivery instead.

What's the mileage policy?

Two hundred fifty miles a day comes standard. Going further? Add unlimited mileage at checkout for a reasonable flat add-on. No per-mile overage at return, no surprise math at the counter.

Who can drive the Transit?

Any driver 25 or older with a valid U.S. driver's license. The Transit drives like a tall SUV. No special license required.

What's included?

Every Transit in our fleet is 2024 or newer with under 40,000 miles. 12 seats with cargo room behind the back row (or fewer seats / more cargo if you ask when booking). Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate, charging ports in every row, blind spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, backup camera. Full tank at pickup. 24/7 Ford Roadside Assistance. A pro shows up if you need it.

What about insurance?

Coverage that fits your trip. Use your personal auto insurance, or add ours at checkout. The booking app walks you through what works for your situation.

How far is AT&T Stadium from a typical Dallas hotel?

About 30 to 45 minutes on a normal day, 45 to 60 minutes on a match day with traffic. AT&T Stadium is in Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth. From central Dallas, Plano, Frisco, or Highland Park, the drive is straightforward via I-30 or I-20.

Can a visitor from another country drive the Transit?

Yes. International drivers 25 or older with a valid driver's license from their home country can drive in Texas. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended for some countries but not required for everyone. Bring your passport and license at pickup.

How early should I book for World Cup 2026?

We recommend locking dates 4 to 6 months ahead of your match. The semifinal weekend (July 11-14, 2026) will book first. Hotel inventory in Arlington sold out months ago, so most international groups are staying in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, or Highland Park and need the Transit for the daily commute to the stadium.

What about Uber surge pricing during the World Cup?

Uber surge during match windows will be severe. 4 to 6x normal pricing is realistic based on prior World Cup host city data. Once you book a Transit for your dates, your daily rate is locked. The vehicle stays with your group, no surge mathing every time you leave the hotel. World Cup match dates do carry surge pricing on our side (reflected in the booking widget when you pick your dates), but the rate you book is the rate you pay for the whole stay.
